Ravello Villa Rufolo dates back to the 12th Century, with towers and a charming Moorish cloister as well as breath taking gardens. In the 18th century apartments there is the head quarters of the European University Centre for Fine Arts and there are also meeting and congress rooms.

The gardens, which are celebrated for their beauty and their magnificent views, host the Ravello Music Festival. The Antiquarium, found in the ancient chapel has relics collected by the Francis Nevill Reid, one of the last owners of Ravello Villa Rufolo, as well as urns from the 1st and 2nd Century A.D. a Sarcophagus from the 4th century and 1st century A.D. capitals.

Ravello Villa Cimbrone on the other hand is 15 minutes walk from the town centre and has a neo-gothic style. Some of the attractions of its gardens are a pergola of Wisteria, a Rose Garden, rock gardens, a cloister as well as a view point from where you can see most of the Amalfi coast.
